Shredded cabbage | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Bean sprouts | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Julienne carrot strips | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Soy sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | To Taste | |
Red chilli sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
Samosa pattis | 8 | |
Water | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Slurry | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (Refined flour) | |
Oil | 3 Cup (48 tbs) (For deep frying) |
MAKING:
1.Heat a wok, add oil, once the oil heats, lower the flame and add ginger-garlic.
2.Once you add ginger-garlic, turn the flame on high and allow it to cook for 30 secs so that the raw smell goes away.
3.Add cabbage, bean sprouts, carrot, salt and allow it to cook on high flame, till it starts sweating.
4.Add soy sauce, give it a quick toss and allow it to sweat. Add black pepper, red chilli sauce and give it a final mix.
5.Switch off the flame and allow it to cool down completely. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
6.Apply some water on the patti's, add a spoonful of the mixture, keep folding it into a triangle.
7.Apply the refined flour slurry on the edge of the patti, so that it sticks.
8.Heat oil in a vessel and fry the samosas until it turns crispy.
