This Goat Cheese And Fig Holiday Dip - Spread Is No Cook

Although its the holidays right now, this cheesy dip can be served at any time, in fact it was enjoyed at a picnic this summer! This is a no cook recipe which is really handy over the holidays or anytime you want some fuss free entertaining. If you wish you serve this warm you can just zap it up in the microwave for a few seconds.

Ingredients

For cheese:
Soft goat cheese 300 Gram (unripened)
Fig balsamic vinegar 1 Teaspoon (Fig Balsamic reduction)
Hot sauce 1 Teaspoon
Finely chopped olives 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (Kalamata Olives)
Sundried tomatoes 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
For topiing:
Sliced green olives 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sliced sun dried tomatoes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Black olives 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (Kalamata Olives)
Sliced figs 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Broken walnuts 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Hot sauce 1 Tablespoon
Fig balsamic vinegar 2 Tablespoon (Fig Balsamic reduction)

Directions

MAKING:

1. Mix the cheese with the balsamic, hot sauce and the chopped kalamata olives and sun-dried tomatoes and spread in a serving dish (use a microwave-safe bowl if warming is required).

2. Spread the topping all over the cheese and drizzle with more hot sauce and balsamic vinegar.

SERVING:

3. Serve with crackers.
