All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Whole wheat flour | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Baking soda | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Nutmeg powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Extra virgin olive oil | 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
Honey | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Eggs | 2 | |
Ripe bananas | 2 , mash | |
Lemon juice | 4 Drop | |
Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Walnuts | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , crush |
GETTING READY:
1.Preheat the oven to 180 Degrees.
MAKING:
1.Add the two flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder and sift it through a sieve.
2.Peel the bananas completely and roughly mash it using a fork.
3.Add some drops of lemon juice to the bananas.
4.In a larger bowl, pour oil, honey and stir it well.
5.Add the beaten eggs, vanilla extract and mix everything well till mixed properly.
6.Add the mashed bananas to it and gently mix them together
7.Pour the flour mix in two batches and mix everything well.
8.Add the roughly chopped walnuts and mix it well in the dough.
9.Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for about 30 - 40 minutes.
SERVING:
