Lettuce head | 3 (((Full Heads of your choice))) | |
Shredded carrots | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (((taste))) | |
Shredded jicama | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (((taste))) | |
Shredded summer squash/Zucchini | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Grape tomatoes/Cherry tomatoes | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Red bell peppers | 2 (((sliced into strips))) | |
Fresh broccoli florets | To Taste (((blanched))) | |
Fresh green beans | To Taste (((trimmed and blanched))) | |
Cooked chicken | 1 1/2 Pound (((cut into cubes))) | |
Shredded cheddar cheese | To Taste |
MAKING:
1.Wash, trim, cut and shred the vegetables.
2.Mix the shredded carrots, jicama and summer squash together.
3.Grate the cheese.
4.Cut the chicken into cubes.
5.Use a trifle dish or any other deep glass serving dish.
6.Layer each ingredient starting with lettuce and follow with a layer of each ingredient.
7.Be sure and place another layer of lettuce in the middle and then repeat the other ingredients as desired.
