What comes first, the chicken or the egg? Who cares! They taste great together in this big, flavor-packed omelet.
Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Sliced onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Ginger garlic paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
Cumin seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Turmeric powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Chilli powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
Boneless chicken breast | 1 , julienned | |
Tomato | 1 Medium , slice | |
Capsicum | 1 , slice | |
Coriander powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Chopped coriander leaves | 2 Tablespoon | |
Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
Eggs | 3 | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Chat masala | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
For garnishes: | ||
Tomato ketchup | 1 Tablespoon | |
Herb salad | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (Mixed lettuce/ rucola / kale leaves) | |
Lemon wedge | 1 |
MAKING:
1.Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, onion, capsicum and give it a toss.
2.To this add green chillies, tomatoes and mix well.
3.Add coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chat masala powder and salt.
4.Mix them well and allow the dry spices to cook nicely.
5. Add chicken and mix them well. Let chicken cook completely.
6. Add coriander leaves and fresh lime juice. Give it a mix.
7.The chicken mixture is ready.
8.Break eggs in a bowl, add salt and red chilli powder and whisk it.
9.Heat oil in a pan and pour the egg batter.
10.Place chicken mixture in the center and cover it from one side.
11.Flip it over once.
