Funky Korean Kim-Chi Chicken Wing

We fire up the Kamado Joe Classic and grill up some funky Korean Kim-Chi chicken wings. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Slithered almonds  
Soy sauce 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Maple syrup 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Granulated sugar 1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)
Yellow onion 1 , quartered
Scallions 4 , chop (white and light green parts)
Garlic cloves 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , peeled
Kiwi fruit 1 Small , peeled (cut into large chunks)
Asian pear 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , peeled (cored, and cut into large chunks)
Sprite/7up 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (about half of a 12 oz can)
Freshly squeezed orange juice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Asian dark sesame oil 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Toasted sesame seeds 4 Tablespoon
Mirin 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (sweet rice wine)
Freshly ground black pepper 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Light thickened cream  
Chicken wings 16
Kim chi
White sesame seeds 1 Tablespoon (for garnish)
