Sprouted GARBANZO BEAN Salad - Healthy Recipe

These black garbanzo beans are not as commonly known as the regular garbanzo beans but are packed with protein and very nutritious. Its paired with ingredients like Avocado, Tomato, Cucumber, Green Peppers and Coriander and dressed in a Curry dressing.


Diced avocado 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Diced tomato 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Diced cucumber 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Diced green pepper 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Spring onion bulbs 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , slice
Diced cilantro 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) ((coriander))
Lime juice 1 Tablespoon
For the dressing:
Ranch dressing 2 Tablespoon
Chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon



1.Boil the Garbanzo beans in salted water, drain and cool.

2.Add this to a bowl with the Avocado, Tomato, Cucumber, Spring Onions and Coriander and toss.

3.Add a squeeze of Lime juice.

4.Add the Chilli & Cumin powder to the dressing and mix well.

5.Pour this dressing over your salad and toss to coat.


6.Serve and enjoy!
