Betty's Cream Cheese Frosting for Red Velvet Cookies- Valentine's Day

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Cream Cheese Frosting for Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies from the previous video in bettyskitchen. This is the perfect frosting for Red Velvet Cookies!


Butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (at room temperature)
Cream cheese 4 Ounce (at room temperature)
Vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Confectioners sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
To sprinkle on top
Colored sugar 1 Tablespoon (granulated sugar tinted using red coloring)



1. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

2. Gradually add sugar and beat after each addition.


3. Top red velvet chocolate chip cookies with frosting, sprinkle colored sugar and serve.
