Betty Plants Her Herb Garden

In this video, Betty plants her herb garden for the summer of 2011. Rick and I chose and purchased our herbs and then came back home and planted them in the plot that was used for last year's herb garden. The plot had herbs and other plants that survived over the winter, but we transplanted each to a proper position before inserting our new plants. The herbs and vegetables that we planted were: garlic chives, thyme, cilantro, basil, oregano, rosemary, dill, sage, tarragon, flat-leaf Italian parsley, curly parsley, bush tomatoes, green bell peppers, pimiento peppers, and jalapeno peppers. I will be updating you on the progress of the herb garden over the summer, and I plan to have some great recipes for you that use herbs.
