Cherry Ripe Chocolate Slice is a decadent dessert slice based on the classic Australian chocolate bar "Cherry Ripe" - it's perfect for afternoon tea or bake sales. A crushed chocolate cookie base is covered with layers of cherry, coconut, and dark chocolate. Rich, sweet and very pink, this no bake dessert will be a big hit - give it a go!

Ingredients

Plain chocolate cookies 250 Gram , crushed
Butter 125 Gram , melted
Unsweetened desiccated coconut 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Glace cherries 200 Gram , cut into quarters
Sweetened condensed milk 400 Gram (1 can)
White chocolate 125 Gram , melted
Food coloring 1 (Rose /Pink)
Semi sweet dark chocolate 250 Gram , melted

Directions

GETTING READY:

Grease and line baking tray with parchment paper

MAKING:

In a large bowl, combine crushed cookies, butter and mix well.

Transfer the cookie mixture and press well. Chill until set.

In another bowl, combine desiccated coconut, condensed milk, glaced cherries, white chocolate and mix well.

Add food coloring as desire and mix well.

Transfer the mixture onto cookie mixture and spread well.

Pour melted chocolate over the layer and allow to chill until set or for an hour.

SERVING:

Serve and enjoy!
