90 Second Chimichurri Sauce

Get a taste of South America without ever leaving home. Your family will marvel at this homemade Chimichurri sauce. Chef Cari shows us how healthy ingredients like parsley, garlic, olive oil, jalapeno vinegar can complimenteven take the spotlight away from the finest steak around.


Flat leaf parsley 1 Bunch (100 gm) , mince
Green onion 1 Bunch (100 gm) , chopped
Garlic cloves 6 , mince
Red wine vinegar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Lime juiced 2
Jalapeno 2 , mince
Oregano sprig 5 , mince
Red pepper 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , mince
Kosher salt 1 Teaspoon
Black pepper 1 Teaspoon
Olive oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)



1. In a food processor, add parsley, green onion, garlic clove, little red wine vinegar, lime juice, red pepper, jalapeno, oregano, and remaining vinegar. Pulse well.

2. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Turn the blender on and stream in olive oil.


4. Serve with steak and enjoy!
