How to Grill Gyros Without Rotisserie - English Grill and BBQ

You can get rotisserie like results if you follow this simple recipe. Try it out!


Pork butt 1 Kilogram , sliced
For marinade
Yogurt 300 Gram
Olive oil 120 Milliliter
Bbq rub 5 Tablespoon (DonMarcos Dancing Sirtaki)



1. In a mixing bowl, take yogurt, add to it extra virgin olive oil. Throw in the rub and mix it all well to make the marinade.

2. Put the beef slices in the marinade and let it rest in the fridge for a day.

3. Prepare the Monolith for grilling. Bring up the temperature to 400 F. Place a dripping pan with water under the grates.



4. Skewer the pork slices in a firewire skewer.

5. Place the skewers on the grill and let the meat cook properly.

6. Remove the meat when the crust turns brown. Slice the crusty part and then place the meat back on the grill and grill for some more time. Slice the crusty part and then place it back again on the grill. Repeat it 3-4 times to get crusty meat.



7. Place it on a bread with tomatoes and onion or eat it by itself.
