Betty's Easy Holiday Truffles -- Christmas

Betty demonstrates how to make Easy Holiday Truffles. These will be a sweet treat on the Christmas Table this year.

Ingredients

Semi sweet chocolate chips
Sweetened condensed milk 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Chopped english walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon

Directions

Making

In a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate. 

Stir in condensed milk, salt, walnuts, and vanilla. 

Pour into a standard 9x5x3 loaf pan that has been lined with aluminum foil and greased with butter. 

Cool for a few hours until firm. (You may use a refrigerator to speed up this process.) 

When firm, peel off aluminum foil and cut truffles into 32 (1-inch) squares. 

Serving

Place truffles on a nice serving plate and serve. To store, cover and refrigerate.
