Caramelized Honey Bananas

These Caramelized Honey Bananas are great as a snack on their own, or you can use them as an ingredient for all sorts of recipes...crepes, pancakes, in a fluffernutter sandwich, on ice cream, and more!

Ingredients

Ripe bananas 2
Grapeseed oil/Butter 1 Tablespoon
Honey 2 Tablespoon
Cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Remove the peels from the bananas and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.

MAKING

2. Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add oil or butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until dissolved.

3. Lay down the banana slices, and fry for 4-5 minutes on each side. Be sure to watch the heat and turn it down if it browns too quickly.

SERVING

4. Serve with vanilla ice cream or layer them with marshmallow crème and peanut butter in a sandwich.
