Puff Pastry

Puff Pastry is type of unleavened dough made by rolling and folding alternate dough and fat layers. The pastry is similar to Middle Eastern Filo pastry. On baking the pastry rises due to the steam created by the fat between 2 dough layers and gives the pastry a crunchy melt in the mouth feel. Puff Pastry Recipes Puff Pastry is made by dough of flour, fat and salt. The layering fat is usually margarine which is specially made for puff pastry.
