Corn Muffin

Corn Muffin is a very popular variant of the plain muffins, mainly made from ingredients that are readily available in the kitchen cabinet. A very basic corn muffin preparation takes in ingredients including cornmeal, all-purpose flour, baking powder, white sugar, egg, butter, milk and salt. Much elaborated varieties of the corn muffin may also invite flavoring extracts like vanilla and biscuit baking mix in the place of flour. Flour and butter may be substituted with wholewheat flour and vegetable or any low fat oil to make corm muffin a much healthier way of snacking. Corn muffins are best served warm topped with butter and taste awesome with bean soup.
