Tofu Wrap

Tofu is a great source of protein for vegan population. This wrap is as healthy as it gets made from mixed whole flour.


For wrap
Whole wheat flour 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Millet flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (to make dough)
Vegetable oil 1 Teaspoon
Stuffing ingredients:
Vegan mayo 3 Tablespoon
Low fat tofu cubes 200 Gram , grated (Lite Silken variety)
Onion 1 , chopped finely
Red bell pepper 1 , chopped finely
Cilantro 3 Tablespoon , chopped finely
Salt & pepper To Taste
Green chillies 2 , chopped finely
Rice bran oil 1 Teaspoon



1. Mix flours and water. Make a soft dough, keep aside.



2. Heat oil in skillet. Add onions and green chillies, saute for few minutes.

3. Now add bell pepper and cook only for few seconds.

4. Add the grated tofu to this mixture. Mix well, turn off the heat.

5. Mix in salt, pepper and cilantro. Keep aside.


6. Make golf sized balls from the dough and roll them out thin into 7-8 inch size disc.

7. On a heated griddle roast these discs with drop of butter on each side. Do not overcook as they tend to loose moisture and become chewy.


8. Take one wrap apply mayo on it. Spread the stuffing over it and fold the wrap.

9. Repeat with other wraps.


10. Serve with some ketchup and a beverage of your choice.
