Lettuce wraps are a healthy and quick dinner idea! Thai-spiced pork with turmeric, garlic, lime juice and vegetables stuffed into lettuce or cabbage leaves. Use pork or ground turkey in this low-carb meal.
|Lean ground pork/Lean ground turkey||1 Pound|
|Diced red onion||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced garlic||2 Tablespoon|
|Jalapeno||1 , seeded and diced|
|Fish sauce/1 tablespoon oyster sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Coconut amino acids/2 teaspoons soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Celery stalk||1 , julienned|
|Frozen peas||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Carrot||1 Small , diced|
|Lettuce leaves||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1.Heat oil in a skillet and sauté pork, onion, garlic and jalapenos.
2.Stir constantly until pork is cooked.
3.Add turmeric, oyster sauce, aminos and stir to combine.
4.Add peas, carrots, celery and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5.Serve in lettuce cups and enjoy!
