Gingerbread Waffles make a fun and delicious new breakfast for all ages!
Cooking spray | 5 Dash (or butter / cooking oil) | |
Gingerbread cake mix | 14 1/2 Ounce (Krusteaz Gingerbread Cake & Cookie Mix) | |
Water | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Oil | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Eggs | 2 Large | |
For topping | ||
Whipped cream cheese | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Honey | 2 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the waffle maker.
MAKING
2. In a large bowl, add in gingerbread mix and water. Stir well, followed by oil and eggs, and mix well.
3. Grease the waffle maker with cooking spray and pour in 1 cup of the batter into the each section of the waffle maker and cook until done.
4. Take out from the maker and place over the cooling tray.
5. For topping – in a medium bowl, mix together whipped cream cheese and honey.
6. Spread the cheese mixture over one of the waffle and seal with another like a sandwich.
SERVING
7. Serve with some fresh fruit juice.
