Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Vegetable oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
All purpose flour | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Baking powder | 3 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Sharp cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) , grated | |
Bacon pieces | 6 , cooked |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
2. Follow manufacturer’s direction and preheat the waffle iron.
MAKING
3. Place a wire rack on baking sheet, and lay bacon pieces in single layer on it.
4. Place the baking sheet in oven, and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until crispy and brown.
5. Remove from oven and allow bacon to cool. Chop them into bite size pieces and set aside.
6. In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, milk, and oil. Whisk well.
7. In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
8. Combine dry mixture with the wet. Stir to combine.
9. Throw bacon and cheese. Fold to spread evenly.
10. Pour mixture into the waffle iron and bake following instructions.
SERVING
11. Serve cheddar bacon waffle at once.
