Bacon Brown Sugar Buttermilk Waffles

Combination of buttermilk, bacon and sugar makes the waffle absolutely delicious.


Bacon slices 6
All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Brown sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Melted butter 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Eggs 4 Large
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Buttermilk 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)



1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.

2. Follow manufacturer’s direction and preheat the waffle iron.


3. Place a wire rack on baking sheet, and lay bacon slices in single layer on it.

4. Place the baking sheet in oven, and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until crispy and brown.

5. Remove from oven and allow bacon slices to cool. Chop them into bite size pieces and set aside.

6. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

7. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, butter, buttermilk, and vanilla. Whisk well.

8. Pour wet mixture into the dry. Stir to combine.

9. Throw bacon and fold to spread evenly.

10. Pour mixture into the waffle iron and bake as per manual instructions.


11. Serve bacon sugar buttermilk waffle with a cup of hot coffee.
