Bacon Waffles with Cheddar Sauce

Ingredients

Quick mix 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Water 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Unsalted butter 3 Tablespoon , cooled
Eggs 3 Large , beaten
Bacon slices 4 , cooked crisp, drained well, and crumbled
Cooking spray 1
Cheddar sauce 1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)
Scallions 2 , thinly sliced

Directions

1. Heat a waffle iron.

2. Combine bake mix, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir in water, butter, eggs, and bacon to combine.

3. When waffle iron is hot, spray lightly with cooking spray. For each waffle, pour 1/2 cup batter into center of iron. Cook until iron stops steaming and waffle is crisp.

4. To serve, top with cheese sauce and scallions.
