Mashed Potato Waffles

Crispy, savory waffles made from mashed potatoes, cheese, sour cream and chives.


Melted butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (4 tablespoons)
Mashed potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Grated cheese 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Milk 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Sour cream/Plain yogurt 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
All purpose flour 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Baking powder 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Fresh minced herbs 1 Teaspoon (thyme, rosemary, dill, parsley)
Toppings 2 Tablespoon (optional, more sour cream, butter, bacon bits, broccoli in cheese sauce)



1.Preheat waffle as per machine directions.


2.In a bowl, combine melted butter, potatoes, cheese, milk, sour cream and mix until well combined.

3.Add flour,baking powder, pepper, salt, minced herbs and mix well.

4.Add milk or flour to adjust consistency.

5.Pour cup batter on hot waffle iron.

6.Close and cook until done.

7.Top with desired toppings.


8.Serve and enjoy!
