A superb home made salad dressing recipe that takes less than a minute to prepare so why wouldnt you make it at home?
Red wine vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
Dijon mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Garlic | 1/4 Clove (1.25 gm) | |
Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Basil | 1/4 Teaspoon , dry | |
Dry oregano | 1 Tablespoon | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon (to taste) | |
Pepper | 1 Teaspoon (to taste) |
MAKING
1. In a glass jar combine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, basil, and oregano.
2. Pour olive oil in it. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Shake, and mix it well.
SERVING
3. Serve basil vinaigrette with salad.
TIPS
Place the jar in refrigerator and it will remain fresh for 2 days.
Take it out of fridge and serve at room temperature.
