Sweet Potato Tzimmes

Ingredients

Fat 2 Tablespoon
Brisket 3 Pound
Boiling water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Nutmeg 1/4 Teaspoon
Carrots 8 , sliced
Sweet potatoes 4 , peeled and cut in quarters
Beef To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat oven at 350° F.

MAKING

2. In a Dutch oven or casserole, melt fat.

3. Add beef and brown it.

4. Add water, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

5. Cover and cook over a medium heat for 1 ½ hours.

6. Add carrots, sweet potatoes and brown sugar. Toss it.

7. Cover and bake in an oven at 350° F for 2 hours. Remove cover while cooking for the last half an hour.

SERVING

8. Serve Sweet Potato Tzimmes immediately.
