Vegetable Pattice

Green peas 50 Gram
Yam 50 Gram
Chopped potato 100 Gram
Chopped beets 50 Gram
Crushed peanuts 25 Gram
Shredded carrot 50 Gram
Shredded cabbage 50 Gram
Chopped beans 50 Gram
Cauliflower 50 Gram
Raisins 20
Oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (for shallow frying)
Salt To Taste
Garam masala 1 Teaspoon
Onions 2
Ginger garlic paste 2 Teaspoon
Chili powder 3/4 Teaspoon (1 small teaspoon)
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Bread slices 4
Cornflour 50 Gram
Water 1 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)
Bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)


Wash and boil all the vegetables till little tender. Now take them in a bowl . Add ginger garlic paste, garam masala, raisins,salt, turmeric powder, chopped onions, chilly powder and mix well.

Soak bread in little water and mix with the vegetable mixture. Make a proper blend of all the vegetables & bread to form a patty. Take a small portion on your palm and flatten it. Similarly flatten all the patties and keep ready.

In cornflour put some water and make a solution and dip patty one by one in it and roll over the bread crumbs. Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry all the pattice 4 to 5 at a time. Turn over the sides & fry till crunchy brown. Serve it hot with sauce or green chutney.

These vegetable pattice are low in calories and full of nutrition.
