Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Oil | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Yogurt | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Walnuts | 2 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY
1. Pour salt in the cooker. Place a wire stand and a perforated stand over it. Close the lid and heat it at medium flame while you work on the batter.
2. Grease a cake pan and set it aside.
MAKING
3. Take all purpose flour, allspice, baking soda and baking powder in a dry bowl.
4. Drop powdered sugar and walnuts into the bowl. Mix the dry ingredients together and set it aside.
5. In another cup, whisk together yogurt with oil until well combined.
6. Pour the oil and yogurt mix into the dry ingredients bowl.
7. Add carrots and fold everything well. Adjust the consistency of batter with milk.
8. Pour the batter into a greased pan. Put it in a preheated cooker, cook for about 25 minutes or until done.
SERVING
9. Slice and serve with tea, coffee or all by itself.
