Turkey Gratin

Ingredients

Cooked turkey/Other poultry / game 1 Pound
Butter 1 1/2 Ounce
Onion 1
Mushrooms 3 Large
Flour 1 1/4 Ounce
Stock 3/4 Pint
Cooked vegetables 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (As Required, Peas, Beans, Sweet Corn, Chopped Carrots, Green Pepper, Etc)
Double cream 4 Tablespoon
Chopped parsley 1/2 Tablespoon
Chopped thyme 1/2 Tablespoon
Grated cheddar cheese 4 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Chop the onion finely.

2) Chop the mushrooms.

3) Chop turkey.

4) Take a baking dish and grease it with butter

MAKING

5) In a skillet, melt butter and cook onion until tender.

6) Add mushrooms and cook for 1 minute. Sprinkle in flour and blend well.

7) Pour on stock and let it boil, stirring constantly.

8) Add chopped turkey and any available cooked vegetables.

9) Coat the vegetables well into sauce. Add herbs and cream.

10) Turn mixture into baking dish and sprinkle thickly with grated cheese and a little paprika.

11) Grill until crisp and brown all over.

SERVING

12) Serve the turkey gratin with cooked noodles, rice or potatoes.
