Braised Turkey Breast In Apple Juice

Ingredients

Boneless turkey breast 5 1/2 Pound (1 Number)
Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground sage 1 Teaspoon
Paprika 1/2 Teaspoon
White pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Onion 1 Medium , sliced
Garlic clove 1 Small , crushed
Apple juice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Preheat oven to 450° F.

MAKING

2) Take the turkey breast and rub with oil. Sprinkle sage, salt, pepper and paprika.

3) Take a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan and lightly grease it with oil.

4) Place garlic and onion in it. Place the turkey breast on onion.

5) Bake for about 30 minutes and then remove from oven.

6) Pour apple juice all over turkey breast and cover the pan with foil.

7) Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of breast by making an opening through the foil.

8) Bake for about 2 hours or until thermometer registers a temperature of 185° F.

SERVING

9) Transfer the turkey to a serving platter. Serve immediately with drippings.
