How To Make Sweet And Sour Tofu

This recipe of Tofu is the perfect fusion combination of coconut and peanuts, with a hint of lemon juice to bring out all the flavor. Easy and delicious


Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Crunchy peanut butter 2 Tablespoon
Chili flakes 1/2 Tablespoon (optional)
Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Coconut milk 3 Tablespoon
Onion 1 Medium , finely chopped
Garlic 2 Small , crushed
Firm tofu 1/2 Pound , diced into 1 inch pieces (500g)
Oil 2 Tablespoon



Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.

Soak wooden skewers in water.

Line a baking dish with foil and place a rack over it.



In a frying pan, heat oil and sauté onions and garlic until soft, for 5 minutes.

In a bowl, combine chili flakes, brown sugar, lemon juice, peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce and mix well.

Add sautéed garlic mixture, tofu and mix well.

Skewer the tofu and place on rack.

Pop into oven and bake for 3-4 minutes (per side).



Serve and enjoy!
