Best Homemade Toffee Makes A Great Christmas Gift - by Rockin Robin

This toffee is so delicious, it's almost addictive! It's not rock hard and it almost melts in your mouth. Try it at least once.


Butter 1 1/4 Pound
Granulated sugar 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Chopped almonds 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) , toasted
Water 7 1/2 Tablespoon
Light corn syrup 2 Tablespoon
For topping
Semi sweet chocolate chips



1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.


2. Place 3 cups of almonds over a cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 10 – 15 minutes.

3. Take out from the oven and let it cool.

4. In a food processor, add in the almonds and blend.

5. Divide the almonds in half and set aside.

6. In a large skillet, melt the butter on medium – high.

7. Add in the corn syrup and the sugar stir. Stir in half of almonds and water, mix until sugar is dissolved.

8. Increase the temperature to high and stir until it comes to boil, until the temperature raises to 300 degrees.

9. Pour the mixture into a cookie sheet and spread with spatula. Top with chocolate chips and spread with spatula, followed by the almonds.

10. Refrigerate for 2 hours.


11. Break the toffee and serve along with cookies.
