Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sliced almonds 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Semi sweet chocolate chips 2 Cup (32 tbs)

1. Preheat oven to 200 degree F. Turn the oven off and place a greased pan in it. Let the pan remain in oven while you make candy.

2. In a medium pot, add sugar, melted butter, and water. Mix well.

3. Place the pot on medium flame, stir constantly and cook until the mixture reaches 290 degrees F when measured with a candy thermometer.

4. Drop sliced almonds and continue to cook until the mixture is at 310 degrees F.

5. Transfer mixture into the greased, preheated pan. Spread evenly.

6. In a small pot, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with vegetable oil. Drizzle melted chocolate on top of the warm toffee. Let it cool completely. You can also pop it in refrigerator after an hour to harden.

7. Break into pieces and serve.
