Holiday time in our family means party time! Whenever friends and family gather, we love to enjoy a celebratory drink with delicious appetizers (and more than just chips and dip in a bowl!) to "whet our palate" in anticipation of the main course.

Sourdough bread loaf 1 Small , sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
Goat brie round 4 Ounce , cut into cubes (Woolwich Triple Crme Goat Brie)
Coconut milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Eggs 2 Large
Extra virgin olive oil 2 Tablespoon
Candied pecans 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Pear 1 Medium , thinly sliced

1. In a bowl add eggs and coconut milk. Whisk well till combined.

2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat.

3. Dip the French baguette slices in the egg mixture well and place it on the pan. Fry on both sides till golden brown. Transfer onto a plate.

4. Place a piece of Brie cheese on each slice, topped with pear and candied pecans. Secure with a toothpick.
