Indian Tomato Chutney Cheese Toast

Thinking of a real quickie for a snack? Here's one - simple, tasty and effective in satisfying those in-between hunger pangs.


Multi grain brown bread slice 6
Reduced sodium basil pesto 3 Ounce
Low sodium tomato chili sauce 6 Tablespoon
Low fat low sodium mozzarella cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Dill leaves 2 Tablespoon
Olive oil spray 2 , spray



1. Heat oven to 375ºF.

2. Place bread on a greased baking tray. Spread with basil pesto. Top with tomato chili sauce. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Garnish with dill leaves. Spray with olive oil.


3. Bake about 6-8 minutes or until crisp and cheese has melted.


4. Serve hot along with fresh fruit punch as an accompaniment.
