Peach Tart

Looking for an easy and very impressive Summer dessert you can whip up in no time? Look no further. This Peach Tart is something your guests will be talking about for months.


Almond paste 7 Ounce , grated
Softened butter 2 Tablespoon
Granulated sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Eggs 2
All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
Puff pastry sheet 1 , Defrosted
Peaches 3 , sliced (2
Shelled pistachios 1 Tablespoon
Egg 1 (for an egg wash)



Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F



In a bowl with an electric mixer beat together the grated almond paste, butter, sugar, and eggs until smooth.

Add the flour and mix until smooth and set aside

On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry dough until it is big enough to fit a tart pan.

Roll out the puff pastry over the pan, press it down into the bottom and sides, and cut off the excess dough on the sides.

Put the almond paste mixture at the bottom of the pan and spread evenly.

Arrange the sliced peaches on top however you would like and sprinkle the top with the shelled pistachios.

In a small bowl whisk an egg and brush the sides of the dough with the egg wash to make sure the crust gets beautiful and golden brown

Put the tart in the oven and let it cook for 30 minutes.



 Serve the tart for dessert.
