In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Fresh Blueberry Syrup. This syrup is delicious with pancakes, waffles, cubes of pound cake or angel food cake, as well as ice cream desserts.

Fresh blueberries 1 Cup (16 tbs) , washed, stem removed
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sugar/Sugar substitute 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (or to taste)

1. In a saucepan, place fresh blueberries and pour water. Place the pan on medium-low heat and bring it to a boil. Turn the flame to low and boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Strain and press through a sieve into a bowl and then add sugar. Stir well and pour the mixture back into the saucepan. Boil for 5-8 minutes over low heat.

3. Serve warm syrup over vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
