California Giant Stuffed Strawberries

Nothing says warm weather entertaining like a traditional strawberry short cake. I am a lover of finger foods, especially when fresh berries are involved, and this recipe is inspired by one that I saw on Im taking a traditional strawberry shortcake recipe, and giving it a bite size party twist that makes spring entertaining elegant and simple.


Strawberries 1 Pound
Pound cake 675 Gram
Whipped cream 3 Cup (48 tbs)



1. Whip heavy whipping cream and confectioners sugar together until you have thick high peaks.

2. Using a melon baler, core out the top of each strawberry.

3. Spoon together pound cake and berry compote to make a moist cake batter and use your melon baler to scoop the batter into the strawberries.


4.Pat the cake batter into the berries, top with whipped cream and then shave chocolate over the top before serving.
