This pork stew recipe will keep all the vampires away! Pork, caraway seeds, and lots of apples make a great fall stew.
Fatty pork | 1 Pound | |
Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Onion | 1 Large , diced ((about a cup)) | |
Garlic | 5 Clove (25 gm) , minced | |
Caraway seeds/Poppy seeds | 1 Tablespoon | |
Grainy mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Chicken stock | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Apple | 1 ((I used a Golden Delicious)) |
MAKING:
1.Heat a pot with oil and brown pork on all sides.
2.Once done, transfer to a bowl and brown onions in the leftover fat.
3.Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
4.Add pork and add caraway seeds, grainy mustard, salt, black pepper, chicken stock and bring to boil.
5.Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hours until tender.
6.Add apple and simmer for another hour.
