Grilled Steak with Gremolata

Fillet steaks 24 Ounce (4 fillets, 6
Kosher salt To Taste
Coarsely ground pepper 4 Teaspoon
Parsley 3 Tablespoon , finely chopped
Garlic 1/2 Teaspoon , finely chopped
Lemon zest 1/3 Teaspoon , finely chopped
Frisee 4 Ounce (curly endive)
Fresh black pepper To Taste (Few grinds)



1. Start by preparing a charcoal, wood, or gas grill, or preheat the broiler

2. Before cooking, around 1 hour in advance, take the fillets and rub with a little salt and the coarsely ground pepper


3. Lay the steaks on a surface, and press the pepper into the steaks to marinate it well, set aside the fish at a cool room temperature for about 1 hour

4. In a small bowl, combine the parsley, garlic, and lemon zest , to make the gremolata

5. On a grill, place the fillets and grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, make sure that the steaks flesh should be tender and spring back when pressed in the center, set aside in a warm place

6. In a steel pan, heat 1 tablespoon of water with a little salt and the pepper, also add the frisee and cook, turn firsee with tongs, for 1 minute, until the frisee droops, then lift the frisee from the pan, shake it, and transfer to a serving platter

7. On a platter, spread the wilted frisee and top with the fillets


8. Sprinkle the steaks with the gremolata and serve, you can also serve with a sauce of your choice
