Flank Steak Broil

Catsup 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Lemon juice 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Celery seed 1 Teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce 2 Teaspoon
Bay leaf 1
Coarsely ground black pepper/Cracked black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Crushed basil 1/4 Teaspoon
Bottled hot pepper sauce 1 Dash
Flank steak 1 1/2 Pound , scored


For marinade, combine all ingredients except steak.

Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.

Cool to room temperature.

Pour over steak in shallow baking dish; let stand in refrigerator several hours or overnight, spooning sauce over occasionally.

Broil steak over hot coals 5 minutes; turn and broil 5 minutes more or till done.

Cut very thin slices diagonally across the grain.
