Hellofresh peppercorn steak

I am always looking for easy recipes, that taste great and are healthy! Here's one for you to try: Peppercorn Steak with roasted rosemary potatoes and broccoli. Yummy! All of it delivered to my house by Hello Fresh, ready to cut and cook.


Flank steak 1/2 Pound
Broccoli 1 Medium , cut into florets
Shallot 2 Small , minced
Cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Olive oil 4 Teaspoon
Potato 1 Large , cut into 1/2 inch cube
Peppercorn 20 Gram , crushed
Rosemary 1
Salt and pepper To Taste



Preheat the oven at 400.


Place potatoes on baking sheet and sprinkle some oil, season with salt and pepper. Put it into the oven for 20 minutes.

Now add the florets to the cooked potatoes and sprinkle with olive oil and salt and pepper. Cook in the oven for 10 minutes. Add rosemary for flavor

In the meanwhile, pour some olive oil in the pan, put the steak on medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes for each side. Season it with salt and pepper while cooking.

In the same pan, at the medium low heat, pour some olive oil and cook the shallots for a minute. Mix 1/2 cup of water and peppercorn. Cook until reduced by half and add cream. Wait until the mixture gently bubbles down.


Slice the steak and serve with peppercorn sauce and roasted broccoli and potatoes.
