Steak and Potato Dinner

You can actually cook this meal in the same time it takes to watch the video. This classic meat and potato meal includes: marinated, broiled london broil, mashed potatoes, broccoli with honey, soy sauce and sesame seed glaze, and a tomato, onion, basil salad with orange balsamic vinaigrette. GETTING READY:

Preheat oven and keep it ready.

MAKING:

Marinate London steak with garlic, soy sauce, oil and balsamic vinegar. Place the steaks in a baking tray covered with aluminium foil and pop into oven. Once done, allow it to come down to room temperature.

Broil for 10 minutes (5 minutes each side).

For mashed potato, add chopped potatoes with water (to cover) in a saucepan and allow it to boil. Once done, strain the potatoes, mash and add butter, sea salt, pepper. Blend well by mashing.

In a saucepan, add extra virgin olive oil, sliced garlic, broccoli florets and cook in a low heat.

In a small bowl, mix sesame seed with honey and soy sauce.

Pour the honey mixture over the cooked broccoli and toss well.

For the salad, combine sliced tomatoes, sliced red onions in a large bowl. Add chopped fresh basil, dressing (with orange juice, olive oil, dry mustard) and toss the salad.

Cut the steaks into slices before serving.

SERVING:

Serve with broccoli, mashed potato and tomato salad and enjoy!
