Belgian endives | 4 , trimmed and quartered lengthwise | |

Balsamic vinegar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Peppercorns | 1 Tablespoon , rinsed and finely chopped | |
Parsley | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped | |
Thin slice parmesan cheese | 4 , shaved (optional) |
GETTING READY
1. Start bypreparing a charcoal, wood, or gas grill or perheat the broiler
MAKING
2. In a bowl, combine the endive, olive oil, and garlic together, and season with salt and pepper, now mix these ingredeints properly and allow the ingredeints to marinate for at least 30 minutes
3. In the bowl filled with marinated ingredeints, remove the endive and lay it on the grill, then cook for about 3 minutes
4. Now turn the endvie to the other side and cook for about 1 minute, or until it's properly hot
5. Lay the endives and divide them among 4 serving plates,while arranging the grilled quarters in a fan shape
6. In a small bowl, combine the vinegar and green peppercorns, now spoon these ingredeints over the endive
7. Lay the endive on a surface and sprinkle with parsley and black pepper, you can also top it with shaved parmesan cheese, if desired
SERVING
8. Serve with a sauce of your choice, or salads, bread
