This is a perfect sangria recipe for any time of the year. Use whatever fruit is in season to create infinite variations.
|Metaxa brandy||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Agave nectar||3 Tablespoon|
|Orange||1 Small , thinly sliced|
|Lemon||1 Small , thinly sliced|
|Watermelon||3 Cup (48 tbs) , diced (or other seasonal fruit)|
|Red wine||750 Milliliter|
1. In a pitcher, combine all ingredients and stir around with a spoon, crushing some of the melon.
2. Refrigerate to let the flavors marry for at least 2 hours before serving or overnight.
3. Serve over ice, garnished with watermelon wedges or slices of citrus.
