Microwave Spanish Chicken and Rice

Frying chicken 3 Pound , cut into manageable pieces
Uncooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Spanish rice mix 1 1/4 Ounce (1 package)
Water 1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)
Sherry 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt 1 Teaspoon



1. Take a glass casserole and add Spanish rice mix, rice, sherry, water, salt and onion.

2. Top it with chicken pieces and wrap the plastic around the glass casserole.

3. Dip probe into the liquid.


4. In a microwave oven, place the glass casserole and cook on a setting of HIGH (9) HEAT & HOLD at 180°F for about 75 minutes until chicken gets cooked and rice turns soft.


5. Serve the Spanish rice and chicken hot.
