Spanish Brown Rice and Meat

Oil 2 Tablespoon
Chopped lean beef 1 Pound (hamburger, heart, lung mixture)
Onions 2 Large , chopped
Green pepper 1 Large , chopped
Celery stalks 3 , chopped
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , minced
Brown rice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Tomatoes 1 Pint (2 cups)
Sea salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste



1.In a pan heat oil.

2.Add meat and vegetables in it and cook until brown.

3.Add water and rice and let the ingredients simmer for half an hour.

4.Add tomatoes along with sea salt and pepper and cook for 30 more minutes until the rice is cooked.


5.Serve warm.
