Patatas Bravas are a simple Spanish tapas recipe that are also delicious as a side dish. Potatoes cooked in olive oil with a spicy hot sauce!
New potatoes/Fingerling potatoes | 8 Ounce , washed, cut into bite sized pieces (small) | |
Extra virgin olive oil | 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
For sauce: | ||
Mayonnaise | 3 Tablespoon | |
Olive oil | 4 Tablespoon | |
Hot sauce | 1 Tablespoon (of your choice) |
MAKING:
1.Heat a saucepot and boil water. Add potatoes and cook for 5-8 minutes until it gets cooked.
2.In a bowl, combine mayo, oil, hot sauce, salt and whisk well.
3.Heat oil in a skillet and fry potatoes in it.
4.Cook until it turns crispy. Transfer to serving dish and drizzle prepared mayo sauce over it.
