Ingredients

Ground beef 1 Pound
Onion 1
Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce (1 Can)
Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
Ground cinnamon and cloves 1 Teaspoon
Ground cumin 1/4 Teaspoon
Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
Raisins 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Canned green chilies 4 Ounce , drained (1 Can)
Canned black olives 4 Ounce (1 Can)
Almonds 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , slivered
Cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) , grated

Directions

MAKING

1) Into a frying pan, pour in some oil and fry the beef

2) Chop the onions coarsely and add to the beef

3) Saute till the onions begins to soften

4) Drain the excess fat

5) Using the fingers, break up the tomatoes and add to the beef with vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, cumin, chili powder, raisin, green chilies, corn and olives

6) Bring the mixture to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes to simmer

7) Add in the almonds and sprinkle in the cheese, cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes

SERVING

8) Serve the dish with some rice
