|Plantain||2 , peeled, cut into 1 inch slices (green or yellow)|
|Oil||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Serving sauce||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat oil for 350F and fry the plantain slices until golden brown.
Transfer to flat surface and press using tostonera.
Fry again until very crisp and browned.
Drain excess oil using paper towels.
Top with pico de gallo or chili sauce.
Serve and enjoy!
