Fresh basil | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Garlic | 3 Clove (15 gm) | |
Kosher salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
Ground pepper | 1 Tablespoon | |
Beef steak | 1 1/2 Kilogram , washed and dried |
GETTING READY
1. Blend together tomatoes, spring onions, basil, lemon juice, garlic, pepper and kosher salt into a smooth paste. Set the marinade aside.
2. Rub the marinade over the steak and let it rest overnight.
3. Prepare the smoker box for medium heat.
MAKING
4. Place the picanha on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until nicely seared on all sides.
5. Place the picanha on indirect heat and rub the remaining marinade over it. Cover and cook until its done.
SERVING
6. Slice and serve this juicy meat. Enjoy!
